Woodland Park School District Wi-Fi Project Completed
Springs Hosting was awarded the Woodland Park School District Wi-Fi project in July of 2016. We partnered with Cisco to provision 200+ access points across multiple locations within the expanding school district. “Springs Hosting delivered a solid Wi-Fi solution that refreshed our entire wireless infrastructure in a timely manner and at a competitive cost. Their technical skill set, friendly and attentive customer service made this deployment a breeze!”, said Ed Waltman, Systems Administrator at WPSD. The new enterprise-class wireless access points are easy to configure and maintain in the cloud by the WPSD staff through centralized management. The security focused access points feature high power radios built for high-density environments delivering nearly 2 Gbps of throughput per radio.
Woodland Park School District is part of a growing list of schools in Colorado that entrust Springs Hosting to provide enterprise solutions that benefit thousands of students and teachers in Colorado. In 2016, Springs Hosting started working with the E-Rate program that allows schools and libraries to take advantage of the Universal Service Fund under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). “The fund assists school districts financially to deploy enterprise-class network systems which directly impacts their students and provides them with the technologies that the students need to be successful in today’s highly competitive work environment.” said Don Brown, CEO at Springs Hosting.
Special thanks to KBL Industries for their tireless efforts and meticulous cabling throughout the many buildings in the Woodland Park School District.
