CenturyLink provides additional bandwidth
On March 8, 2011, CenturyLink (Formerly Qwest Communications) completed the fiber installation to deliver additional data transport services to Springs Hosting, a Colorado Springs collocation provider of managed hosting services.
“Uptime is the name of the game in our industry and you can never have too much!”, said CIO Jeremy Keefe. “We are always looking for ways to extend the network as our customer base continues to grow. CenturyLink has such a large footprint in the surrounding 13 state region that it was a no brainer for us to bring them on-net with us. We are also the only provider based in Colorado Springs that provides CenturyLink bandwidth directly to our customers.”
Springs Hosting internet bandwidth and IP services use multiple tier 1 providers via BGP4 networking protocol to allow for multiple entry and exit points on the network and complete network redundancy to virtually eliminate network failures. Our state of the art network provides our customers with reliable connectivity and best path routing our the clock. Springs Hosting continues to invest in itself to perpetually improve the network through emerging technologies.
