Colocation Customers Gain Remote Reboot Capabilities
On January 16, 2009, Springs Hosting added un-assisted remote reboot capabilities for colocation customers giving admins the ability to remotely reboot unresponsive servers directly via the power distribution units. Jeremy Keefe states, “Our customers have total control over their colocated equipment; facility wide. This is just the next step in providing our customers with the tools they need to succeed within their online business. At Springs Hosting, we go more than just the extra mile to make sure our clients are successful and have all the necessary tools available at their finger tips. While many Data Centers will only provide you with a couple of plugs and some cat6, we provide the complete package for our customers’ power requirements. We go a step further and if our customers have any problems with their machines, we will assist them where many data centers won’t. This is because we are also an IT centric company with the skillset in house to manage Windows, Linux, and BSD based operating systems. Think of us as that silent partner that’s always willing to lend a hand.”
